Roc LED wall lamp
design by Kenyon Yeh Light is the reason that lamps and lanterns find their meaning of existence. As lamp bears the light, we should think about different aspects of light before designing the lamp: during the day, during the night, while it’s on and while it’s off.

A Moment In Time This collaborative project between TPCreative and META Design brings together wood crossarms from Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), which were used to hold up power lines for power transmission but are currently no longer in use, and META Design's classic bedside reading lamp, resulting in the birth of the jointly-developed WhimsE010 lamp.
In Search of A Tree's Third Lease of Life
"The fall of a tree marks the beginning of its next phase in life." This is our faith, our belief. Wood is used to make objects that fulfill the needs in our daily lives. For some objects, once they have accomplished their mission, their meaning is lost, and with it, the value of their existence. We hope to give these trees a third lease of life through our design. Whims LED reading wall lamp - Special Edition Old objects are the containers of memory. Over time, they have been refined, with some of them fading away from our memory. Those who still preserve, subtly prove the value of their existence. META aims to find a new state of existence for Taiwan’s unique cypress doors and windows. Using the cast-off cypress window and door frames from old house renovation, We make these needless materials regenerate as reading lamps. Wish this memory and the smell of wood always be with us, through the light. APSIS LED Wood Desk Lamp
Zak Stratfold APSIS LED Wood Desk Lamp: Illuminate more than just your desk Lamps provide us light and energy in dark spaces, just like sunlight nourishes the world. META Design 2019 new launch: the APSIS LED wood desk lamp, innovated by British designer Zak Stratfold, finds inspiration in the relationship between Earth and Sun. Its design evokes an armillary sphere, with the round lamp head representing the Sun and the marble base symbolizing Earth. With an APSIS lamp on your desk, your reading experience becomes almost cosmic. Like the Sun, APSIS can give off warm, natural, and cold shades of white light, and the user can modulate shade and brightness with a single touch. The rotating lamp head allows light to be thrown not only onto a desk surface, but also onto a wall or ceiling if desired. Flexible directionality and an adjustable tone give you the freedom to create many different internal atmospheres. The lamp’s concave marble base also provides space for conveniently storing small, important objects. |
