Its design evokes an armillary sphere, with the round lamp head representing the Sun and the marble base symbolizing Earth. With an APSIS lamp on your desk, your reading experience becomes almost cosmic. 
      Like the Sun, APSIS can give off warm, natural, and cold shades of white light, and the user can modulate shade and brightness with a single touch. The rotating lamp head allows light to be thrown not only onto a desk surface, but also onto a wall or ceiling if desired. Flexible directionality and an adjustable tone give you the freedom to create many different internal atmospheres. The lamp’s concave marble base also provides space for conveniently storing small, important objects.
