At construction sites, there is often the need to assemble temporary safety guardrails, hence the existence of straight tubes, A-tubes, and accompanying movable pipe joints. Discarded guardrails “transformed” into hanging lamps and benches, and metal tubes restored into tables, make up a social space in construction project plans. Now rather than the “stay away” message that these materials portray, they bid a warm welcome to all.
