Since we have already extracted so many resources from the Earth, is it possible to maximize the efficient utilization of these resources?
"The Jobsite Plan" is a long-term plan by META Design that focuses on resource reuse. We view construction waste in a different way, implementing the material cycle: through design and craftsmanship, transform construction waste into furniture and return them back to completed buildings for reuse.
Apart from aiding construction companies in implementing ESG practices, the project also aims to guide more individuals towards considering the many possibilities of material reuse before discarding them thoughtlessly.

JSC chairs - 100% made of recycled wood fromwork
One of the works of The Jobsite Plan, The JSC chairs is a series of chairs 100% created from recycled wood fromwork. We have overturned the rigid and upright image of formwork, bending it to present a "softened" form. The JSC Chair series comprises three chair designs, including dining chairs and barstool chairs.
153 nails need to be removed before making the chair
Recycled formwork must undergo various processes such as chiseling off cement, disassembly, nail removal, and refining. The rows of holes on the chair legs are the nail holes left behind from the formwork's disassembly, serving as distinctive marks unique to the chair.
